I've never painted roses with sunflowers. And even though remembering rose petals was a hard task, I'm pleased with the results. I do think I need to perform a little flower study and try to capture flowers in a more realistic way.
I am pleased with the way these are turning up. I like the colors. But maybe it's time to take this to the next level. I'll paint a few more of these and then I'll start a new project.
